Still just chugging along here. It's pretty awesome to feel her moving around inside. Even just when she's turning over, I can definitely feel it. At times it can be uncomfortable depending on where she is or how she's moving. Sleeping is definitely challenging. I had several people tell me 3rd trimester is when sleeping becomes very uncomfortable. I'd had hip pain and other sleep issues during 2nd trimester, but those other people were right. Nothing like 3rd trimester. It's hard to roll over and I'm just so uncomfortable that I'm waking up at least every two hours if not more often to roll over or move. I'm about ready to move to the couch to see if it would help having the back of the couch behind me.
I completed a few projects for the nursery this weekend. I finished the fairy door. No new picture since it looked like the one I posted before. Just happy to say it's done and on the wall. I also made 3 burp clothes. No picture yet. I still have 7 more to go. I bought more fabric at the fabric store this weekend. I went in for a water soluble fabric pen and came out with more fabric and thread too. But it was on clearance and so cute. So I made another baby blanket this weekend. Now I've got two blankets for Lily.
I also used some fabric to cover the canvases for Lily's room. I was going to paint them, but since I found fabric on sale I thought I'd give it a try. It was a light pink with tiny little cream dots on it. I painted the letters a darker pink to stand out from the fabric. See picture below. Haven't hung them on the wall yet because I know a lot of people will be in the nursery the weekend of my shower. We'll hang them up closer to the due date or maybe even after she gets here.
Lol, my kitchen table has become my sewing table. I'll try to get more pictures tonight of the burp clothes and the other blanket. I also have two more pieces of fabric for blankets (clearance) but they don't go together. I need to find fabric that goes with each of them. Guess you could say I'm going a bit crazy now that I have a sewing machine.
Oh and not to forget, an update picture of me this week. I feel so huge that I'm not seeing a difference but other people might. It's a wee bit blurry. Darn bathroom pictures at work.
Re: 32 weeks
I can't tell as much as usual, but it is not as obvious as usual. Hopefully you will be able to sleep a little more comfortably soon.
Also, sewing and crafting is addictive. Especially when you have things to make.
Oh, and I almost forgot.
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I like to be crafty but I'm not as crafty as I'd like to be. LOL, if that makes sense. I'm very envious of Alyssa. I can lose hours on Etsy just like Pinterest.
Yes! Join Pinterest!!! LOL, I love it. And you can now create private boards which I think is great. Like a baby board if you don't want people to see you pinning that stuff.
I joined Pinterest before the huge craze took over. I loved it because I could Pin or bookmark stuff from other websites I was on. Now that so many other people use Pinterest, it's fun to just surf through the site to see what others have found.
